Fibroblast Skin Tightening requires little to no downtime and has absolute minimum pain and recovery time.
Unlike surgery, it does NOT require anesthesia, incisions or stitches. It's a fast and easy procedure that has minimal to no side effects, runs a low-risk of complications, has a significantly shorter healing time, does not cause skin depletion, and is at a significantly lower cost with comparable results.
The Science: How does it Work?
Fibroblast Skin Tightening uses a small electric arch that is applied to the skin. It ionizes gases in the air to create a small electrical arch. The heat from the arch is then transferred down to the papillary layer which contains fibroblast cells.
Fibroblast cells mainly synthesize fibers, collagen and glycosaminoglycans. They play a huge role in normal growth, wound healing, and everyday physiological activities in all tissues and organs in the body. As fibroblast cells are stimulated during the Fibroblast Skin Tightening Treatment, they begin to produce new collagen and elastin as part of the body's natural healing response. As a result, new, smooth, tightened skin is produced.
How long do the results last and how many treatments are needed?
Since your body created its own new collagen and elastin, the results don't fade like botox and fillers. Results remain and age with you in accordance to your natural and unique aging progression. The number of treatments required depends on the desired results one is looking to achieve. In more advanced circumstances, such as, advanced deep wrinkling or scarring, more than one treatment is required.
